President/Owner
Fifteen years ago, David branched out on his own to create Pimental Contractors. With this company, he has established a solid reputation for quality, craftsmanship and service is all aspects of construction. He enjoys the unique and challenging projects that each custom project provides. A great listener, David enjoys working closely with each client to understand their goals, knowing he has built a team of skilled professionals that can match their expectations. As a result, his services are repeatedly sought after by clients.
David is an accomplished craftsman in his own right and has been in the field of carpentry and general contracting for more than twenty years. He first learned his trade under a master carpenter who believed in "Old World" carpentry. He instilled in David an old fashioned approach to building with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail. David rounded out his skills by graduating from Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School.
David is a Dartmouth Town Meeting member and serves on the Advisory Board for Old Colony Regional Vocational High School. He resides in Dartmouth with his wife and three sons.
Project Director
Bill joined the Pimental Contractors team in 2007 with 27 years of construction experience. Prior to coming to Pimental Contractors, Bill served as a Building Commissioner, first for the town of Little Compton, Rhode Island, and most recently for the town of Marion, Massachusetts.
In addition to his extensive knowledge of coastal building codes and the permitting process, Bill is a licensed construction supervisor with engineering experience. He lives in Little Compton, Rhode Island with his wife, daughter and son.
Mill Shop Coordinator/Drafting Designer
Bob brings many important skills to the Pimental Contractors' team. Prior to joining Pimental, he served for more than 28 years as the Rochester Building Commissioner. Bob was also a carpentry instructor at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School for 31 years, where he first met David Pimental. A certified OSHA instructor and an experienced instructor of CAD (Computer Aided Design), Bob resides in Rochester with his wife.
Marketing Director
Before joining Pimental, Kathy worked for International Data Group for 32 years as President of IDG Research Services Group. She directed media, advertising and marketing research for IDG's online and print publications worldwide. Kathy became familiar with Pimental Contractors when the firm completely renovated her home in 2007. She was so impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff, she readily agreed to sign on when Dave Pimental asked her to help with his firm's marketing efforts. Kathy makes her home in Mattapoisett.
